Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health / Homecare Travel Nurse – Southaven, MS

Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health Travel Nurse in Southaven, MS. 13-week travel contract, $2,190–$2,550/week; Mississippi RN license required. Join a compassionate homecare team serving Southaven and Desoto County near the Memphis-area with guaranteed hours and mileage reimbursement.

  • Job Type: Travel Contract / Homecare RN / Home Health Nurse
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
  • Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Shift Length: 8-hour days
  • On Call: 1 week night on call, no weekends
  • Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
  • Mileage: Reimbursed between visits (from first patient to last patient)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi (required)
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Home Health RN or homecare nurse
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and coordinate home visits
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills; proficient with EMR documentation
  • Clinical experience with wound care, wound vacs, PICC dressing changes, and lab draws is a plus
  • Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, case managers, and physicians

Responsibilities / Clinical Duties

  • Provide skilled nursing visits and home health care to patients in Southaven and Desoto County
  • Perform wound care, medication management, IV/PICC dressing changes, and other skilled interventions
  • Complete recertifications, resumptions, and patient discharges accurately and on time
  • Document all care, interventions, and patient progress in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, medications, and home safety
  • Coordinate care with case managers, therapists, and primary care physicians to support positive patient outcomes
