Job Requirements – ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse
- At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required (ICU RN or critical care nurse)
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or eligibility through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and critical care nursing skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for multidisciplinary ICU care
Responsibilities – ICU Registered Nurse
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Continuously monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment and ventilators
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and transitions of care
