Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
PCU RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery processes
- Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
