  • Employment Type: Travel Contract
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
  • Schedule: 3x12s, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM
  • Hours Per Week: 36
  • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: No weekends or holidays
  • Patient Population: Adults
  • Healthcare Setting: Pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac and vascular patients

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
  • Telemetry nursing experience required
  • EPIC experience required
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Previous charge nurse experience required
  • Strong understanding of cardiac rhythm monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Experience with arterial and venous access site monitoring required
  • Experience with radial, ulnar, and femoral access care strongly preferred
  • Ability to care for patients undergoing IR, Cath Lab, EP Lab, PV Lab, and Same Day PCI procedures
  • Must be able to pass compliance requirements, including an EKG exam

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate care for adult telemetry patients in a pre- and post-procedural environment
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias as part of routine patient care
  • Assess and manage patients recovering from interventional radiology, cath lab, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Support arterial and venous access site management, including hemostasis monitoring
  • Care for patients with radial, ulnar, and femoral access sites and recognize changes requiring intervention
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and quality outcomes
  • Document accurately in EPIC and maintain clear communication throughout the shift
  • Deliver patient-centered care in a unit that values precision, teamwork, and reliability
