Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540
• Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78412 (Travel Nurse – Corpus Christi, Texas)
• Setting: Neuro/Ortho Telemetry Unit (25 beds) – cardiac telemetry, neuro/ortho patient care
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00) – Night Shift Telemetry RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (travel nurse applicants encouraged to apply)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry or Med/Surg RN experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Familiarity managing chest tubes, non?titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and weight?based heparin drips preferred

Responsibilities – Telemetry Nurse / Travel RN

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a busy 25-bed Neuro/Ortho Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and cardiac telemetry; identify and respond to arrhythmias and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage IV drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin per unit protocols
• Manage chest tubes and provide post-operative neuro/ortho telemetry care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, PCTs, physicians, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Document accurate patient care using Meditech EMR and maintain compliance with unit policies
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment focused on patient-centered care
