- Role: Travel Registered Nurse (Telemetry) / Tele RN / Telemetry Nurse
- Setting: 22-bed Telemetry Unit (3 West, Doctors Regional Medical Center)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:00), rotating weekends
- Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of acute med/surg experience within the last year (telemetry experience preferred)
- Ability to safely manage 4–6 patients on a telemetry unit
- Clinical skills: IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration
- Experience with Meditech EHR documentation
- Friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused attitude
- Scrubs required
- Preferred: 2+ years of orthopedic (ortho) nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to med/surg and ortho patients on a telemetry unit
- Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to cardiac/respiratory changes per unit protocol
- Deliver standard nursing procedures including IV and catheter insertions, central line maintenance, and safe medication administration
- Document patient care, assessments, and progress accurately in Meditech EHR
- Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Float to med/surg units as needed and participate in rotating weekend coverage
