Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license required
- Hospital or acute care imaging experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography, imaging procedures, and patient positioning
- Ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to patient safety and radiation protection
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging exams while explaining procedures clearly and professionally
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper use of imaging equipment to obtain quality studies
- Maintain patient safety standards, including radiation protection practices
- Document procedures and communicate effectively with radiologists and clinical staff
- Support efficient workflow within the imaging department while providing compassionate patient care
